A tircorder is able pick Jem Harder foot soldiers when cloaked at about ten feet away. Also we often see the Predetor by choose to use close range blade weapons even when it is armed with a plamas gun. As for the PRedtor few times we seen the Predtor us has plamas weapon using laser to target it. We have see the tircorder being able pick light pick laser beams in the past even harmless once. Kor_Dahar_Master 0 Posted May 29, 2010 The predators cloak cannot even hide the predator properly from human vision and considering it is intended for hunting at visual range as a advanced form of camouflage it is very unlikely to be able to be capable of hiding a predator and all his equipment that requires energy to work from a tricorder scan. They even managed to track the pred while it was cloaked in the movie Predator 2 with contemporary technology so it would be no problem for trek scanning tech.
