At amount force Klingin disrupter deliever by average about same amount hand granade making someone going flying. Stromtrooper blast deliver no were near that live punch energy base weapon.

Jason, I can't see this turning into anything but a bloodbath for the 10 Federation soldiers. As much as I would love the Federation to win each and every contest, ground combat is not something UFP ground forces can win. While I agree that Phasers can be more powerful than blasters, that doesn't change the fact that blasters are still deadly, and UFP soldiers don't wear armor. While it's questionable if Stormtrooper armor could be much protection against Phasers, it's better than nothing at all. Not to mention that 1000 - 10 odds are insane no matter what.

Bigger problem training lead bad tantic. Stromtrooper basic train fight weaker foe and do effectively. Stromtrooper armor may provide some protect against blasters low lose Stromtrooper face taking Rebel on blockade runner back that claim. We see Star Trek armor be able resistence phaser fire. Star trek TNG we saw Security offier fire twice bring down Klignon warroir armor provide some protect against hand phaser.  More improtnat type soldier taking once defend Relay station and fought Klignons in Star Trek Deep Space nine. Star Trek basic unifrom might provide protect against blasters . UFP combat unifrom would without question do it. Klingon uniform the samething. If Klingon unifrom could stop a phaser shoot lower setting they could stop blater shoot lower setting to  Blaster much weaker weapons UFP soldier uniform is has at least some phaser and disrupter resistence.

 

UFP Soldier take cover were ever it is available in hand granade Jameway used do heavy damage to holodeck. Blast at miminal be enough take out 10 stromtrooper piece. Means UFP soldier find smellest cover the stormtrooper tantic themsleves lead defeat. They just defeat hand granades and phaser rifles.

While photon grenades are nightmarishly powerful - Kirk got hit by the debris from one's detonation 1200 yards away - they also... aren't used that much.

Look top did point out hand granade we saw Caption Jameway us in Star Trek Voyager this vidoe last 20 secounds of it see what I mean. The granade that Jameway used powerful enough damage Holodeck itself.

 

Or better yet if so wish proven point even more so you can watch Star Trek Voyager macocosm from last 2 minutes of it see deck shack little bit shockwave. Not the least Jameway hid behind area deck dock for cover.

First we can agree first 100 stromtrooper are died likely 200 wound just hand grenades alone.  Then come down were they fighting. If cover and able do fighting retreat. Us good tactics UFP soldier us grenade when they need to. This lead must death possible on other side. Sadly have to agree you that UFP soldier would lose not take down something 300 Stromtrooper down with them. Meaning not like can fight 30 to one come out top it more like they can successful fight more then 100 to one hover.
