In May, I placed an order for this domain because it showed he had let it expire. He renewed it during the grace period. The only way I could get this domain unless he doesn't renew it, is to go through a broker. Basically pay someone to negotiate a price with him to sell it to me. This is exactly what the squatter wants. He's hoping I will want the domain bad enough to pay him big bucks instead of the normal $10 registration fee, even though he never plans to do anything with the domain himself. It's not illegal, it's just a shitty thing to do. Now, it was a different situation with ASVS.org. That had been owned by Aron Kerkhof and he at one time used it for an ASVS related web site. I asked him for the domain, and he kindly gave it to us. Which reminds me, I never posted a thank you thread.
