Then Defiant class come to us main defector dish to blow that Death star to space dust.

How are Terran Rebel otherwise supposed take out the Death star. They can not do trench run photon torpedoes simple did not have turn rate need.They have Defaint class warship and lack photon torpedoes require. If they had Galaxy class ,Nebula or just about any starship but the Defaint class warship they able just stone the Death star to death photon torpedoes.    Single Galaxy starship need at least could fire something like 20 photon torpedoes at the Death star per second.  if she had unlimit amount to spare 10 minute amount time took for the Death star reach Rebel base fire something like 12,000 at the Death star itself. Fire were shield might likely be more then enough destroy the Death star. Problem Terran Rebel did have Galaxy class starship nor did they have number photon torpedoes they need.

 

So going have use main defector dish way destroy Death star.
