Jason 27 Posted September 16, 2014 At first one thing system Pircard would have used stop Klingons. Special after warp core going to blow rammed the none saucer into one BOP would been smart. 1. Pircard need all the power the USS Enteprise D give even when warp core going to blow. USS Enteprise D in pratice turn all three Klingon ships to space dust with her phaser banks. It only took few minutes at must charge. Last few secounds of the battle Klingon fire bridge USS Enterpise D not firing back. Note Fact Klingon trying destory USS Enteprise D bridge is evidnece pretty dispeartemetn get onto starship go blow. I always found evidnece for boi attacks. 2. UFP design Galaxy class battleship without the able saucer seperation. Only reason think is lot quick able to build more Galaxy class battleship. One could make the arguement little us for it that argue fail to take account lose half ship is better lose entire ship. So militery stand point still make sense. We can rule out much bigger phaser bank simple fact able fire phaser all dirction. Many differnt phaser banks bigger heavey phaser made. Last arguement is amount of time likley value having compare amount time take to build Galaxy class battleship. It took the UFP over a year put USS Enteprise D into sevice. UFP able build space frame in numbers months even so take UFP nearly year to get Galaxy class into sevice. It is possible save few months doing it without saucer seperation ables.
