Khas 12,158 Posted July 28, 2014 While we all know that Star Wars' ion cannons disable electronics, ion cannons in other sci-fi works do actual damage (most famously, GDI's Ion Cannon in Command & Conquer, which can vaporize armies in seconds). So, would ion cannons in other sci-fi works damage SW stuff? My guess is yes. I mean, it would be moronic to think that an Imperial Stormtrooper or even AT-AT could survive getting shot at by GDI's Ion Cannon. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
