Well it could if they were traveling inside the Immaterium aka Warp. They do not have any Geller force fields to protect themselves against Chaos. Also I was having fun with you.

They wouldn't need Warp at first, especially without psykers, as they'd get lost and it would be way too slow with said psykers.

 

Secondly, no psykers, no Daemon soul hack.

 

Thirdly, how could they open rifts into the Immaterium, yet not also have those Geller fields? It's quite obvious that both techs are often found together.

According to the Lexicanum, Daemons can possess people but psykers are more susceptible.

 

 

 

I'd say that the UFP would be like virgins\untainted according to the Chaos gods and therefore tantalizing to them.

 

 

 

ST galaxy has plenty of their own brand of psykers like the Organians, Doud, etc.... The UFP could possibly ask one of them to open up a rift into the Warp.

 

 

 

Then again, if Chaos can manage to possess a host on a planet and turn the host into a portal then more daemons would come through and if unchecked could turn that planet into a Chaos World.

In 40K, people are tied to the Warp because of the souls. There is nothing like that outside of Warhammer 40000.

It doesn't really happen in 40K, it will certainly not happen in an universe with people who are not tied to the Warp and whose own psychic people have nothing to do with the Warp either. All people outside of 40K are like pariahs, safe that they don't have the pariah gene implanted by Necrons to counter act the code implanted into some species by the Old Ones to tie them to the Immaterium.

 

Chaos is hardly a problem under such circumstances.
