NX-01 519 Posted October 8, 2009 I don't know many people who DID like ST:V. It was a horrible piece of shit. Yeah it wasn't that great but I did like Kirk's line "What does God need with a starship?"
paul 11,988 Posted October 8, 2009 Agreed. That line sticks out or when scotty says "Don't worry captain. We'll beat those klingon devils. Even if I have to get out and push" That always stuck with me hehe.
Praeothmin 532 Posted October 8, 2009 Yeah it wasn't that great but I did like Kirk's line "What does God need with a starship?" Yeah, the movie, overall, was bad, but there are still some priceless moments: -Marshmelons... -"What does God need with a Spaceship?" -"I want my pain, I need my pain!" (Kirk's answer when Sybok proposes to take Kirk's pain away... -Sulu: "We're caught in a Blizzard, we can't see a thing!" Uhura: "Sensors say, Clear blue sky and a temperature of 80!" Chekov: "Look Sulu, the Sun's come up, it's a mee-ra-kel!" -Spock: "Captain, I do not think you realize the gravity of your situation!" Kirk: "Believe me Spock, Gravity is foremost on my mind!"... And a few others... So yeah, bad movie, still good moments...
