    Starfleet armor in 24 century

I guess it doesn't take much to push you over the edge? BTW, the Enterprise-D and E were and are made of sponge. And the ISDs are made of cheese wedges.

    Captain Kirk vs T.J. Hooker

I don't know but the conclusion would be suicide.

Is there still a desert to the west of San Francisco?

Doesn't matter. The OP asks if there is still a desert west of SF. My answer is yes. The OP doesn't state distance limitations.

Is there still a desert to the west of San Francisco?

Doesn't matter. Eventually it is west of SF.

    Starfleet armor in 24 century

At least with red, the enemy won't see you bleed! But then again you'd most likely be disintegrated if shot. I wonder which is better cotton\wool\polyester armour or plastic armour? I take the one made of fabric since it would be more comfortable even if it doesn't actually protect me from phaser fire. lol

    Sith vs. Dark Jedi

Over at SDN, someone made a topic asking why the Empire fell after RotJ. After a few posts Darth Tedious asked if Vader could have kept the Empire together and Darth Hoth replied with the following quote. So Palpy isn't a Sith per se? It makes sense since he didn't stick to the Rule of Two. He had Maul and Dooku. Later the Emperor had Vader yet Vader had his own apprentice plus Palpy had Mara Jade "The Emperor's Hand".

Is there still a desert to the west of San Francisco?

Well there is a desert west of SF. It is the Sahara Desert.
  11. Ignoring his age, Ben Stein would have made a perfect yet boring Spock.

    Starfleet armor in 24 century

You know, the crew of the E-D would have loved those personal forcefields when going on those away team missions. lol Same with Voyager and DS9.

    Sith vs. Dark Jedi

True. Sith race itself may be gone but maybe not their ideals? If someone acted upon it then they'd be considered a Sith? The rule of One\Two was made so that the dark side of the Force would be more potent in the hands of one or two as opposed to thousands of Jedis?

    Sith vs. Dark Jedi

More than just label but a way of life? It isn't strict as to who claims to be one but if those that claim to be a Sith were to find out about each other then soon it would be down to one. Besides, claiming to be a Sith is usually bad for one's health. Other than those who also claim to be one, the galaxy on the whole would frown on such claims and the Jedi would want a word with him or her.

    Just how tough are ya?

Yeah? Well I also screamed out loud that Bill 101 sucked donkey balls.
  18. True but not as drastic as dropping from the speed of sound to 50/60 miles per hour.

    Just how tough are ya?

I'm so tough that I spoke English and refused to speak French in Quebec and I lived!
  20. In Generations, (I watch with the captions on) when the saucer passes through the clouds the caption reads (sonic boom), that would mean it entered the atmosphere faster than the speed of sound. The crew could not control the saucer other than limited control in trying to level the saucer.

    Just how tough are ya?

I'm so tough, I spent a day in Quebec...... and survived to tell the tale!
  22. Probably because the Intrepid Class were not built to have crumple zones?
