Praeothmin 532 Posted March 29, 2010 A fight to the death between Blade, our Vampire hunter extraordinaire, and John Preston, the ultimate Grammaton Cleric: 1- Hand to Hand; 2-Swordfight, using their respective weapons, which have the same properties as in the movies; 3-Gunfight, starting at 30 meters from one another, with moderate cover (a few crates here and there, one ciment wall in the middle of the field); Who wins? Praeothmin 532 Posted March 30, 2010 Ok, since no one seems to care, I will answer my own post... Situation 1, Hant to Hand: While Preston is good, Blade is simply better, faster, and much, much stronger then Preston. One hit from Blade will seriously hurt Preston, and make it easier for Blade to finish him off... Blade wins. 2-Swordfight: Same thing here. While Preston is better at Swordfights then at unarmed combat, Blade is still the superior fighter, and still enjoys all the physical advantages he had in HtH... Blade wins. 3-Gunfight: This is the one place where Preston's skill can help him. Since we are not in close combat, Blade's physical advantages, except for speed, do not help him here. Still, we've seen movie Blade score more headshots then Preston, who relies on evasion and saturation fire to disable his enemies. Blade also has the good sense to wear armor, while Preston relies on his Gun-Gata and the Stormtrooper-like aim of his enemies not to get hit. Blade wins this one, but gets out of the fight with a few more bullet scars...
