so basically the mobile style is done and it should automatically detect your phones. however i allowed for user overriding so you may still see the default skin in a few places till you switch it on that page.

Hey there Sorry for the delay in response, been a bit busy over at my location hehe.

 

A mobile style should be done by the end of today, and it should pick up instantly if you're using an Android or other type of smart phone. As for lag on the PC I'd like to know a little bit more. For example is it every page on the site, or just reading a thread etc?

 

This way I can narrow down what would be causing lag on a PC

Yeah the default style weirdly enough those links at the top none of them are clickable. No idea why but I'm going to be removing them as is and placing them elsewhere.

Here is the major list of changes for the website.

 

 

Changed to latest vBulletin

• ALL PASSWORDS WERE RESET FOR SECURITY REASONS YOU MUST RESET YOUR PASSWORD. IF YOU CANNOT DO SO VIA NORMAL METHODS, CONTACT PAUL OR TY
  
  
• Marketplace was readded with new options
  
• Experience system added for achievements and awards.
  
  
• Reputation has (sadly) been reset due to it not transferring properly.
  
• Rep messages are still being added slowly.
  
• You can now use the [/video ] tag to show youtube videos in post
  
• Shoutbox is completely redone. No more annoying loading thing at the top either
  
• New arcade is being installed (even though the forums are active). This arcade has a 1 click installer so we can keep new games in the system.
  
• User groups were changed, everyone was marked backed to Registered Users for the time being.
  
• Some forums (mostly hidden ones) were removed due to being inactive or a waste of space.
  

 

 

Facebook integration is much tighter now! You can click on settings and link a lot of options to facebook!

So as an update, me and Ty have been working hard to reconstruct things on a test bed. And so far things are looking damn nice.

 

 

 

The Marketplace that we're going to use has some fun little toys (changing peoples user titles to be glittery, new avatars etc). A new arcade which allows for quick additions (basically one click installs), new shoutbox, experience system a whole lot more.

 

 

 

The biggest thing now we are looking for is a brand new skin. So once that's complete everything should be ready to go! There will be some down sides, but all in all it's a lot better than having half the site blown up

Hey everyone. I know the site is pretty... exploded at the moment. There are thousands of things wrong and I don't even know where to begin atm. Both me and Ty are looking at an alternative right now that should obliterate these problems and add some nice new fun toys.

 

 

 

This should be fixed by the end of the week one way or another.

Yeah this is due to expanding the theme to utilize a full width approach. I'll try and work on realigning it.

There was a problem with the folder that is used to house the uploaded images.
