If you put up just an index.html with two images i will seriously fly down to cali and bitchslap you before new years.

So the site will be offline for a bit while things get upgraded. Don't like it? Don't care ^^, but I thought I'd be nice and give a little notice anyways.

Main site updates are complete, some of the applications cannot be updated due to their site being offline as well since they are moving hosting (who knew?)

Define tweaked? It's done there is only a few tweaks that would be done before live if it went (last post times etc). But yes, I'd like to know if i'm spending a day doing updates or not so i can plan accordingly

STO and related materials to STO are considered soft canon. You're making this more complex than it needs to be. Hard Canon overwrites soft canon regardless. CBS obviously allows STO to be called soft canon or cryptic would of never stated as such (since CBS would rip their ass a new one). The reason why no other novels were given any type of status is how the license for the game goes. EVERYTHING done has to be approved by CBS. No if's, and's or buts. Besides the user generated content, anything officially done by Cryptic has to be called in, looked over with a comb then said okie dokie too before it hits development. So to make this simple - Hard canon will always trump soft canon. So *throws shoes at everyone*

I would have to double check with my little groupies that deal with CBS at cryptic, but from what I would understand is that since it's technically a part of STO, MACO's would be in the 25th century and a part of the soft canon title.

The path to 2409 was exerts from the book itself. Basically highlights of what happened that year. The entire book is apart of STO thus would be in the same field. While yes, no books have ever been given canon status, this book was just basically a "To explain wtf is going on in game" type deal.

As I stated, the path to 2409 is considered soft-canon which is from the book the needs of the many, which fills in the gap between Nemesis and 2409. So, technically, the book would be considered soft-canon (not hard canon as like ty said books are never canon hehe) Only cryptic studios has made the claim, however if you wish to contact CBS for more information by all means feel free . Cryptic basically has to get approval from CBS to do ANYTHING massive to the game. Small story arcs that don't screw with too much can be added here and there but any major episodic content has to be run down, approved and polished before CBS will consider approval on it. Hell, CBS wouldn't approve the use of the Enterprise J due to the fact there is no way they could add a 2 mile long ship into the game without it looking like crap Like I said, story arcs that are used in game etc are canon - player actions and situations are not. The connie was added as a player request thing thus not considered apart of any "canon" type status.

At the get go I expressed severe concerns with vbulletin due to the nightmare that was started with 4.x.x However, after extensive use (dinking around, blowing it up etc) and recent updates I find it to be better off than it was (seriously who the fuck rewrites an ENTIRE template system so that they can be "special" and use vb tags? Seriously.) Anyways those concerns that people have about the test bed I can alleviate a lot. The post bits aren't going to be THAT large. There are a few things that'll be in it (exp stuff), Awards should be like they are here below the signature, signatures will be given some TLC in forcing size limits so they dont scroll so large as some do here, and the avatars for all users will be a static size. The test vb is really just a cluster screw of everything I could find, thrown into a mix and pasted together. I'd never suggest using the default skin that i modified though *hums*

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Crews returned to northwest Portlandon Saturday in the search for missing 7-year-old Kyron Horman. FOX 12 has confirmed that a tip from DeDe Spicher -- a friend of Kyron's stepmother Terri Horman -- is what sparked the search. Search teams were seen near a field off Cornelius Pass Road, about one mile south of Skyline School. Kyron was last seen at the school June 4 and his stepmother was the last person known to have seen him. Crews were also seen in a field off Cornell Road on Sunday. Actually, I did read this thread. I read every thread and every post in main engineering So perhaps instead of insulting me try reading the thread itself as you apparently missed someone saying things about the brig which was the focus of my comment. As for me having PTSD - Try again.
