"Until now, we've kept very quiet, to avoid being targeted by lunatic fringe groups who for some reason think it's wrong to clone human embryos. It's too early to promise anything, but we hope that one day we will have genetic cures for a whole range of debilitating illnesses." A lunatic bitch named Anne-Marie Barry had this to say - "Well, if you have to be part of a lunatic fringe group to object to this barbaric practice, I'm a lunatic. Of course it would be nice to cure these unnamed diseases, but at what cost? They're messing with the sanctity of human life. It's wrong, and the lab should be shut down immediately." Needless to say, she was removed quickly by Aethro's security forces and has not been seen since.

We are pleased to announce that we, The Armed Republic of Aethro, have started legislation to abolish minimum wage laws and are starting to raise tariffs against foreign automobile companies. We see this as a win-win situation and will continue to make our nation the most powerful in the region!

Considering CW is done by lucasarts that would then mean it's canon ^^ However yeah like *shudders* raycav said, it was a prequel so the firepower isn't going to be at par with the later ones (unless they got drunk in military defense and just never upgraded ^^)
