Uh i'm 28 and so yes. And I'm sorry for not being all "parental" like saying thank god your ok, it's okay sweetie you don't have to worry about it etc etc. No, this is a public forum so yes, he posted an idiotic move and thus gets called an idiot. QQ tear tear cry me a river.

    Needs computer help.

There is no such error as #22 Now 10022 is invalid argument so yes, something screwed with your winsock core. A worm is easily delt with by starting up with a virus scan cd and wiping all affected files without actually going into windows. Otherwise, a virus/trojan/worm can hide in active files that cannot be altered for security reasons while running and keep reinfecting things even after it's been deleted from one spot.
  5. meh the sun will for sure flip on 2012 (even nasa confirms that one) and we're due for one as is (it happens every 5 thousand to some weird number in the millions) and it's been approx 740,000 years since our last one. WHEN it does happen (It's a 100% certainty it will happen) unless it's somewhere way in the future where we have space ships to evacuate the populous - do you REALLY think they'd say jack diddly squat? Fuck no. Mass rioting, looting, anarchy would cover the globe. Magnetic poles shifting would cause severe problems worldwide. It could happen today, tomorrow or in 2012. Who knows maybe the Mayans could predict it. We'll see. Before anyone even mentions Y2k lemme debunk that theory. That threat WAS real. MOST computers used two digits to store data, so obviously they'd of reset to 00 and screwed a shitton of things up. However, that problem was technological so easily fixed (and was done pretty fast). The earth shifting its magnetic poles is not something we can exactly stop.

So, crashed my car last night, almost died.

Okay to be fair, earlier this year yes I did speed down the highway at over 100mph. Reason being though my friend was in extreme pain and we couldn't wait for an ambulance so I drove her to the hospital. HOWEVER I did call 911 to tell them we were coming and a police car escorted us most of the way since he was only a block away when I started.

So, crashed my car last night, almost died.

I should remove that custom title then because you obviously are not a "resident jackass". Resident dumbass maybe... In any event it's really simple. YOU posted on a public forum what happened. You really think people aren't going to comment? Are you that retarded? You walking away from the crash alive is a great thing, don't get me wrong on that part. And yes, everyone fucks up at some point in their life. I've been there and done far worse than you did. However, if you cannot handle people calling you an idiot for a stupid move that honestly COULD OF KILLED OTHER PEOPLE (and don't say it couldn't have because it easily could of if there was another car) then don't post about it. It's very fucking simple.

So, crashed my car last night, almost died.

For starters if you didn't want people to call you an IDIOT for doing something stupid then don't post a retarded move. Secondly I never said I've never made a mistake considering I've made many and I have sped before. In HS I did racing however it as in a semi controlled enviorment. Outside of that I, yes actually, NEVER sped on streets no matter if I knew them or not. It's too easy for kids to dart out or shit to change the condition of the road and you can lose control.

honestly, its great you're alive and all but i agree with enigma you're an idiot for speeding in the first place.

Well at LEAST in this one they can claim lots of jedi's unlike the moronic nitwits at sony that said "Hey lets allow everyone to be a jedi!" Destroying their once proud game.

    USS Defiant vs Death star

No, I don't think runabouts are more maneuverable than x-wings but they aren't clunky thats for sure, and it's not like they're going in to capture said DS (unless they really wanted too i suppose), they could go in, surgical strike the key areas then out they go. Now if they are using the shuttles with armor like admiral janeways shuttle then god help them (Course then transphasic torpedos would be a nice addition) hehe. Once inside they could easily setup pattern enhancers to get out to safety thus ending said mission and they can stand on the deck of a cruiser with a big banner that says Mission Accomlished (HAH I made a funny!)

Star Trek Online announced Release date!

And now for the info including timeline - (clickie) In the movie, two characters travel back in time from the year 2387. When Nero arrives in the year 2233, he disrupts the time continuum, creating an alternate reality from the point of his arrival. Star Trek (the new movie) takes place in this alternate reality. This is explained in the film in a conversation between Uhura and Spock on the bridge of the Enterprise. Star Trek Online is set in the "prime" Star Trek reality. This is the timeline of the five television series and the first 10 movies. It is the world in which the Gorn attacked Cestus III, Kirk fought Khan in the Mutara Nebula, Picard explored the galaxy, the Federation fought the Dominion War, Voyager was stranded in the Delta Quadrant and Captain Archer and the crew of the NX-01 showed us how it all began. Events in the movie that happened in the prime timeline (the destruction of Romulus, and the disappearance of Spock and Nero) have affected STO. You can learn more about the aftermath of these events in the Path to 2409 and in STO itself. So how can the movie and STO be in different realities? When working on Star Trek, screenwriters Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman referenced the theory of quantum mechanics, which allows for the simultaneous existence of parallel timelines and universes. Parallel universes are self-contained, separate realities that exist as a consequence of different choices and outcomes. This concept was explored in the TNG episode "Parallels," in which there were thousands of alternate timelines (and thousands of Enterprises!). It also is seen in the Mirror Universe, which is a darker take on the world of the Federation. There are many, many stories to tell in the prime universe. The fallout of the destruction of Romulus and the upheaval that causes in the Alpha and Beta quadrants creates storytelling opportunities that we at Cryptic didn't even imagine when we first began working on STO. We're excited by the possibilities, and fans should be as well. The best is yet to come. You can read about it in http://www.startrekonline.com/fiction (The path to 2409)

    USS Defiant vs Death star

okay hold up now that I think about it - Lets use this scenario - Defiant blasts a hole using quantum torpedo's in the DS (which wouldn't be that hard no matter how much ya wanted to say it would be), then using runabouts launches a commando team in. The runabouts are quite agile and should be able to avoid most of the turbo lasers and that strike team could THENNN plop down some pattern enhancers and WOOP. Transport the strike force.

    This is awesome sauce.

Meh ya know what screw photon torpedos its the USS Defiant she had quantum torp's that'll take care of the DS pretty damn easily
  21. Because in the end I can actually win by easily modifying the entire site which wouldn't take me long so if you WANT to continue it sure but in the end don't come crying to anyone when your permissions are somehow altered and it's not just by removing your usergroup ^^
