Vulcan that is 16 light years away from Earth has a population over most likely to be over six billion and they at least have one colony on a moon. Vulcan system be at this time at least anywhere between 6 to 30 billion. Star system likely to have similar population and quickly close to Earth will unlikely beyond 32 lights years. I could see this being Vader hard mission yet. Even if a Star destroyer can over power Nova class starship that Star Terk and Star war fans debate over. You still need to deal with fact that the crew of a Nova Class starship can fight back. The storm troopers better be careful were shot because could blow that starship by mistake. Ray shields are design block enemy weapon not solid objects. So Starfleet commando could use a smell pipe and put thought ray shield and then us the Pattern enhancer to beam in some photon torpedoes. Hay you did not need big hole to do that at all.

UFP did have heavy civilian population living near by Kiligon space during DS9. You tell me that the UFP would have heavily civilian population near by Kiligon space during the time Yesterday Enterprise.

We never saw Pattern enhancer be used while starship shields or in shield place. Then again one might ask another question was there a time we saw them bring pattern enhancer into shield target. I am not so sure that ray shield for that matter would stop the Pattern enhancer. In Star Trek Nemesis the smell emergency transport unit device could beam though shields then I think Pattern Enhancers could also beam though ray shields. Otherwise it would have been suicide for Caption Picard to use that device that Date was offering him.

If USS Enterprise D took more aggressive stands we would have little reason to dept that USS Enterprise D could have take out two if not even three them all by herself at cost USS Enterpise C would been destory if they do that.

USS Enterprise D could carry about 6,000 troops. Yar tells Castillo that it was the first Galaxy-class battleship built by the Federation she does not say the only Galaxy class battle starships. It also very likely UFP by this time had upgraded all her Galaxy class starships to military need UFP. So it likely UFP would have anywhere from 15 or more Galaxy class starships. That means the UFP in theory with that many Galaxy class starship could be caring 60,000 troops all over place if only Galaxy class starship carries troops. Guess doing something like this monthly. Federation using more Galaxy class battleship carries soldiers around. So it very possible that billions of soldiers fighting in this war.

Do you remember soft spots in Star Terk first contact on the Borg cube? How many Photon torpedoes would take to make hole that big on a Borg cube. The main defector dish would had to give off that kind of bag to able to destroy a Borg cube.
