There is no indication that hypermatter is fused with normal matter. And while we're at it, Matter/Antimatter reactions are "annihilation" reactions, not "fusion" reactions.
-
The UFP uses antimatter/matter annihilation. The Galactic Empire uses hypermatter fusion. bit of a difference there

The problem is that the Chaos Gods are basically invulnerable. As long as people feel, well, any emotion really, they will be fueling the power of one of the Gods.

It would almost certainly have to. quotes from the fluff say that an ISD jumping to hyperspace consumes more power than some entire civilizations. this sounds like exaggeration, but still.

Could UFP successed done better reble did againsit the first death star

Sorry, but there is a canon conflict. The Y-wings went in first, and all but one either missed the target or got blown up. I repeat my half a brain assertion from above. I also say that one Delta Flyer would receive the entire attention of the defending forces, it's fucked. -

I think the DF would be bothered by the surface turbolasers, largely due to the sheer number of weapons emplacements on the Death Star. And Luke is a walking, flying, Dues Ex Machina. He is the physical incarnation of Powers as the Plot Demands -

If I may resort to the EU, descriptions of the Battle of Yavin say that Imperial ECM around the Death Star was so intense, it was affecting fighter performance. The long trench run was to get them out of turbolaser fire while they flew straight-and-level long enough to get a targeting lock. I will also repeat that 30 one-man fighters taking out a moon-sized battlestation was a fluke of unbelievable proportions, and should never, ever, EVER, be considered the routine course of events. If Grand Moff Tarkin had had half a brain, then the Rebel attack force would have been slaughtered by massive waves of TIE fighters. -
All we know about Star Wars reactors is that the use "fusion", which only means that the fuel fuses to create an energetic reaction. "nuclear" is a word that is conspicuously absent.

Have we ever seen micro-torpedoes pull a turn sharp enough to get into the exhaust port? Do we even know if a micro-torpedo will fit? -

And they were fucked up. And God tried to fix it. God created ASVS to contain Jason, to keep him from unleashing his horror upon the world once more. -
Conquest is my current favorite fanfic, for two reasons. 1, everything is Q's fault. 2, the ending. And even if we accept the X-Wing novels as being canon, that's still the impact of 24 anti-capital ship weapons at the SAME TIME. and even then, it's implied that even a Vicstar can roll to expose it's undamaged shields, and by the time the shields on the second side are down, it's possible for the first set fof shields to be up again.

Okay, after listening to Green Day for several hours, bashing my head repeatedly against a wall, drinking heavily, and trying to forget I could speak English, I took another look at his opening post. I still have no fucking clue. -
If we're only using filmed canon, then I am forced to say that Worf wins scenarios 1 and 2, while 3 remains a coin toss due to the multiple other factors involved. However, I will say that Worf was in two series, with with his run covering 282 episodes and 4 movies. that means he was a character in just under 220 hours of celluloid. Chewie, on the other hand, was a character in 3 movies, with a glorified cameo in a fourth. So, as for questions as to why he shows more brute physical power in the books than the movies? The simple, out-of-universe justification is that Star Wars didn't have the same mass of screentime needed to make Chewie a badass without interfering with the story. Star Trek, on the other hand, has over 200 additional hours to play with, giving Worf more opportunities to be badass than Chewie, who even in his three most prominent movies, is not the center of the story by any means.

According to the EU, SW ships have auto-targeting, it's just that the average battle happens in such an intense ECM enviroment that it's faster to use manual targeting. Otherwise, every attempt to get a targeting lock would end up like the trench run against the DS I.

Scenario 1: I'm going to give this one to Chewie. Worf would probably put up a fight, but still. Scenario 2: If Chewie can use his Rykk Blades to keep Worf away, he'll take it. But if Worf can get in close, Worf'll take it. Coin toss. Scenario 3: the Phaser rifle (First Contact) is the best handheld weapon the Federation has. A Bowcaster is incredibly effective. Too many other factors.

We can't say how good the cloning tech used on Jem'Hadar is; we only see it used on Jem'Hadar. It is certainly possible that the Jem'Hadar were engineered to mature at a naturally quick rate, even without the acceleration of the cloning process. Also, the Spaarti cloning cylinders used by Grand Admiral Thrawn needed ysalamiri to keep clones from going insane if they were grown in less than 90 days.

This is a repost of a topic I had okn Spacebattles and StarfleetJedi. You are an aspiring galactic sovereign. You must choose to build an army around a Codex-compliant Chapter of WH40K Space Marines, or 1000 Jedi

Now, would crossing Jason with Picard make things better, or worse? *shudders* nightmares tonight

Wait, is this the same Picard who tried to say that the NCC-1701 was aerodynamic?
