    Looking forward to it.

As in getting detailed about specific lowers, uppers, parts kits, stocks, buffer weight, gasblock lenght ect.

    Horror/Ship security RPG

I know, it was between a heavily customized AR15, or an 'off the shelf' G36/K with a STANAG insert in the magwell, standard reflex sight and scope combo, and laser/light combo. That and replacing the standard knife with a bayonet. Was just trying to decide between the rifle or carbine. I'd think the rifle would have more range and accuracy for taking down pirates before they get to the boat, while the carbine would be better for if they actually get onboard the ship. These are the things a merc needs to think about after all.

Alright, wasn't sure. Now another question, G36 or G36K?

Looks fine to me, are the rifles semi only or select fire?

What sort of 'engine' would a dragon use for propulsion?

Fire Breathing Dragon? And how bad is this disease? IE could a metal frame be attached to his own wings that he can deploy at will to act as a glider? Combine that with some sort of system that he can breath fire into to redirect it and have jet propulsion. Might be an adjustment period where a creature that can fly turns into a jet powered glider. But maybe I've been playing too much GTA with the ME 163 clone.
  7. And the fact that that you have one survivor covered in mud and possibly his own shit talking all kinds of crazy shit about some kind of invisible Vagina face with tusks that killed the rest of his highly trained and heavily armed squad.

How should we proceed with the elements of magic?

    The Winter Fortress

Sulap would follow right behind Khas, being next to the replicators and waiting as well. "So awareness and precise marksmanship should be enough for most threats, with overwhelming firepower to take care of the others?"

    4 vs 4 Martial Arts Mayhem - Round 1

Ramundo is taken out in the first few seconds of the match while staring at Felica by Sub Zero. Ken is also injured while staring at Felica but not killed. Raph will then engage Sub Zero while spouting something about 'not being a real ninja' because he doesn't follow Bushido (which is ironic when you think about it), this will go on for a while. Tai Lung will then engage with Felica while being more than a bit Rapey with his language. The Doctor will be distracted by an ice cream in a freezer and reminisce about an adventure he had with two odd fellows before going to assist Felica because of course he's a gentleman. That's as far as I get with my knowledge of the players.

    The Winter Fortress

Sulap would nod, "I had intended to get a diamond enchantment for my sword." He would hang around and wait for everyone else to finish their food and for the tour to resume.

    The Winter Fortress

Sulap finished his food quietly, getting up and bringing his serving tray back to the replicator, putting it on the platform and pressing a button, making it disappear. He removed the straw from his bottle of Slugocola and took a few swigs as he listened to Shar explain about the Fall. He had heard and read a few things about it, but ancient history didn't interest him that much, other than the 'lost' technology, as well as what they managed to keep. He'd stand by the replicator and finish off his bottle, slipping it in the replicator and pressing the button again, making the trash disappear. "Captain. Do we have a quartermaster capable of enchanting weapons? I was unable to get my sword enchanted before I was stationed here."

Well, a stock isn't just for reducing recoil from the weapon, it's also the help steady it when you aim. I'm still a novice shooter but I definitely notice sway with my Mosin even I try to fire it unsupported or standing, I can only imagine how bad it would be if I 'hip fired' or didn't shoulder it (I'm still somewhat stupefied that someone thought it'd be a good idea to saw it down and turn it into a pistol). Pistols of course are easier to hold because they're lighter, and I would imagine that a phaser would be even lighter than a conceal carry pistol (polymer or metal frame) being mostly plastic and circuitry rather than needing to be strong enough to not break when you pull the trigger.

    The Winter Fortress

Sulap watched as the two drow ordered, or tried to order food from the replicator. He was about to get up and give them some help when they figured things out. He sat alone eating his soup and slices of bread. He would take a sip from his soda when others started sounding off with their names and affinities, he would finish his sip before speaking up, "Sulap, adopted son of Safek." He'd use his spoon to dunk a fresh slice of bread in his soup bowl, "I've been told I have a Violet affinity, but I have had no training in such regards." he'd lift the bread out of the bowl and start to eat it.

Well, that's what I meant, it's just a thick dowel or something, but it's angled like a Lugar (at least that's what it looks like to me).

I was about to have a 'Seriously Gunny?' moment. The E11/Sterling stock is right where it always is, not that you ever see it deployed in the movies (to my knowledge anyway). I would imagine that a blaster doesn't have much if any recoil, so hip or 'pistol' firing one shouldn't throw off aim/stability that much. But keep in mind that Trek and Wars wasn't made by 'gun guys' like you and me and props were done on the cheap. Think of how much more Cheesey Trek would have been if the Phasers in TOS were dressed up Lugers, 1911s or Vaqueros, rather than a TV remote with a luger styled grip?

    Super Powers and Hero/Villain/Benign

Control Over Bees, Wasps, Hornets, and Yellow Jackets I would love this power, I can see quite a few things to do with this, and I would call myself the Bee Emperor. I probably wouldn't be an outright villain, but I can't say I'd be an anti-hero either. Honey Bees would be the Support front of my little Empire. They would provide income for me by selling off products (Honey, Wax, Propolis, Bees themselves) and services (Pollination Contracts, hive removal). And of course my lair would be well insulated and weather treated with wax and propolis, as well as take care of most other insect problems and to a lesser extent, mice. The Evil-ish aspect I can see of that is withholding pollination from farmers (Good luck with that Almond harvest motherfucker), and of course stealthy assassination contracts on people who are allergic to bee stings. The Wasps and all that would of course be the muscle of my little operation. You think a lone honeybee killing a CEO who happened to forget his Epi-pen is bad? Imagine a fucking swarm of Japanese Hornets descending on a populated area? And of course I can maintain almost full anonymity and on rare occasions release broadcasts of myself in costume making demands. And I won't have that many human minions (might contract a PMC or two if I need something blown up).

    Super Powers and Hero/Villain/Benign

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I'll start it off. Super Powers This would be a 'what would you choose as a super power' thread, and what you would do/be with that specific power. I would say try to limit yourself to one power per post, but of course there's always support abilities like flight/speed. You can go as in depth or shallow as you want, but this is to encourage thought into such things. I'll be posting one of the 'powers' I wish I had in a moment...

That is more or less Imperial Doctrine. Standard Ties don't have either a hyperdrive or shield generators, they have numbers en mass. A B-Wing is designed to be an anti-ship fighter, so if one managed to score a hit it'd be pretty devastating. You're also forgetting about the A-Wing (I know it doesn't get much screen time, but it is cannon) which I think would run circles around the Arwings (right before crashing into something). I would definitely say X-wings are the Arwing's match, but with higher numbers giving them the advantage.

"Do a Barrel Roll!" "All ships, open fire." *Sounds of Animals screeching over an open comms channel.*

Which universes can Star Wars beat?

I'd have to agree with that. Firstly, the Falcon isn't that big, the YT1300 is basically an intergalactic UHaul with beds and a couple of shotguns in the glovebox. Where a Bird of Prey would be what? A light Destroyer? Maybe a Cutter/Corvette? (Although I suppose more appropriately it'd be an Attack Sub)

Which universes can Star Wars beat?

Alright, I'm gonna say it, Dune. The Empire would probably have some difficulty at first with ground combat on Arrakis simply due to the sandworms but they would adapt in time. Air and Space Superiority is no question. To my knowledge there's no space combat ships in the Dune Universe, pretty much just giant cargo ships owned and operated by one guild, who's dependant on a resource exclusive to one planet to pilot said cargo vessels. The Empire doesn't even need to set foot on Arrakis to lock shit down, setting up blockades around it would be enough, then they can set out and conquer nearby worlds for resources to build defensive stations around the planet. Eventually the Guild will either roll over and be a good little bitch, thereby nullifying any actions any House might attempt, or they'll crumble into nothingness, again nullifying anything the Houses can do.

Guess I am a little biased. SWG was my stomping grounds, grew up liking Star Wars more than Trek. I still regret not decking out my B Wing and slaughtering shit in Space before I stopped playing. Then again I was doing pretty good with a 2 gun Bellballab towards then end. There were some times when I'd come in for a strafing run, destroy a couple turrets and be outrunning the lasers before whipping a tight U turn and starting over.

Which universes can Star Wars beat?

(Did Thrawn just bitch out or is this one of those 'step 1 of a 23 step chess move' type deals?) I'm still thinking in the confines of a Federation Vs Empire setting the Empire would have the upper hand in terms of numbers. Most of the time we see Federation ships they're usually alone and off doing something, Imperial ships are rarely alone. It'd be like a Coast Guard Cutter armed with a Railgun doing a Rescue Patrol being ambushed by a Carrier Task Force composed of battleships, heavy cruisers, and they can all launch VTOL fighters and have at least a battalion compliment of Marines onboard that's told to either collect Taxes or make an Example out of people and we're not going to bother checking if they paid before you made an example of them.

Which universes can Star Wars beat?

Tempted to say Star Trek, at least the Federation. Feds have almost no Carriers or Carrier-type ships, most Old Republic/Empire ships are large and made to take on both larger ships and have some defense against smaller fighters while their own fighters and bombers harras/knockout key systems. Most Imperial warships are not only usually larger than most (if not all) warships the Feds have, I would think Fed ships are more agile than Imps, but still, they're outgunned. All those smaller cannons that would be used to fend of fighters would now be pointed at one target, reducing it's shields faster, to go along with whatever assault fighters and bombers are doing. That's just ship to ship fighting. If we're talking about actual boarding, I would put hands down on the Empire or even the Rebellion. Imperials have a healthy contingent of Stormtroopers on board, actual combat troops, as opposed to Security Guards on Federation Ships. Not sure if transporters would go through Star Wars shields, but pretty sure an Imperial Assault shuttle would go through a Star Trek Shield. Klingons might be the wildcard in this case, they probably have the strongest chance to repel an Imperial Boarding party, but I can't see them winning if they were boarding an Imperial ship. There's gonna be a blood and shit strewn mess between where they boarded and where they were stopped, but they will be stopped.
